This hood along with your D/C, eliminates nearly all of that fine turning dust that flies into your face and collects all over your lathe and stand. The 6″ x 9″ opening is ideal for spindle and small bowl turning. The hinged clear plastic face shield adjusts for optimal protection and dust collection, while allowing an unobstructed view of the workpiece. The included L bracket allows you to easily clamp the hood or you can use the magnetic plate to support the hood onto most lathes at any point along their cast iron bed. 4″ fitting allows you to utilize standard collection hose or use an adapter to step down to your shop vac hose.
