This a well made and designed tool. I am using it to install luxury vinyl plank flooring and it is far faster than trying to score and snap and far cleaner and more efficient than using some type of fine toothed circular saw to cut the planks.
Max. thickness cutting: 6 mm. ( less than 4.8mm thick floors are very easy, more than 5 mm is more laborious.) Awesome time saver.
